Veolia Waste Transfer Station

Project Overview
Scope Highlights

Our key service provisions for the project included;

Engaged by McMahon Services to help undertake the renovation of the Veolia Waste Transfer Station in Bibra Lake, Varner undertook a complex series of intricate concrete and steel works in a highly sensitive environment that remained operational during construction.

Working to remove contaminated soil and interfacing directly with operations personnel seamlessly, Varner successfully installed 143m3 via boom pump with line to construct new sump pits for this critical biowaste management facility.

Our team of six successfully undertook the removal of the existing sump pit and bog out bay, disposal of contaminated topsoil and sub-grade, installation of WPM utilising double poly and water stops on all control joints, steel reinforcement, trenching infills to backfill new services and sump pit construction with a C1 finish.
