Engaged by WCP on behalf of DBCA, Varner undertook over 650m3 worth of diverse concrete and steel works, delivering critical infrastructure at Misery Beach, Bald Head, Stony Hill & The Gap National Parks, including the new visitor centre.
Undertaken primarily during the colder and wetter seasons commencing May 2024, works were conducted across 120 days amidst rain, wind, frost and exposure.
Our team of ten on-site utilised a total of 19 pumps in the delivery of our scope, managing a unique set of site challenges. Varner worked in with traditional owners, while also following stringent environmental plans to help protect and safeguard the health of native flora, fauna and biodiversity.
Extensive pedestrian management was required during works as the Park remained open at all times.
