Our key service provisions for the project included;
Working on behalf of Martinus and engaged to deliver turnkey project management and contract administration, as well as engineering management, Varner was instrumental in the construction of the Fixed Rail Loading Facility at Broomehill, completed in March of 2024.
This large-scale project saw us provide comprehensive bulk earthworks services, deploying our sister business SRS Plant Hire’s fleet of light and heavy plant including 50/35/14T excavators, water trucks, graders, loaders and rollers.
At over 1100m3, our team of 18 blue collar and 4 white collar personnel successfully delivered over 1100m3 of complex structural and civil concrete works.
We deployed substantial weather mitigation processes, including temporary drains and sumps in order to deliver to programme and maintain sequencing efficiency.
